Quick Ezy Marine is proud to introduce the Sandemarine autopilot system now available in the Maldives. Sandemarine’s AP200 unit is a compact, intuitive autopilot designed for small to midsize vessels.

Its user friendly interface allows quick mode selection (standby, auto, navigation) and easy commissioning with on deck calibration wizards. Built for tropical conditions, the AP200 delivers precise heading control with minimal power draw, making it ideal for our hot, salty Maldivian waters.

We completed our first Sandemarine installation on the Fahi1 Dhoani, a local dive boat. The crew reported that the autopilot maintained course flawlessly, greatly easing long transits between islands.

By automatically steering straight or to a waypoint, the system reduces fatigue for the helmsman and keeps speed and heading more consistent. Sandemarine’s technology (sensors, compass, GPS) offers “precise course keeping”, enhancing safety and comfort for captains.

With this new autopilot, navigating the atolls is now simpler and more reliable, a valuable upgrade for any Maldivian mariner.
